Israel's Terrorist SuperPAC

Media_httpiimgurcomyw_nyeji

The United States has secretly financed and trained the Iranian exile group, People's Mujahedin of Iran, which the State Department has officially listed as a terrorist organisation, Seymour Hersh reported for The New Yorker magazine. The EU removed the group from its own terrorist list in 2009. The secret training would have begun some time during the Bush presidency in 2005, according to Mr Hersh's sources.

The organisation is known under several different names and acronyms: Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK), Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI), and the National Liberation Army of Iran (NLA). The group's front organisation is the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), spearheaded by MEK leader Massoud Rajavi's wife, Maryam Rajavi.

Terroristien pimeä kassa

The New Yorkerin tähtireportteri Seymour Hersh kertoo Yhdysvaltain rahoittaneen ja kouluttaneen salaa iranilaisten maanpakolaisten järjestöä nimeltä Kansan mujahedin, joka on Yhdysvaltain virallisella terroristijärjestöjen listalla. EU poisti järjestön omalta terroristilistaltaan vuonna 2009. Ryhmän jäsenten koulutus olisi alkanut George Bushin presidenttikaudella vuonna 2005.

Järjestö tunnetaan useilla eri nimillä ja lyhenteillä: Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK), Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI) ja National Liberation Army of Iran (NLA). Ryhmän peiteorganisaationa toimii “Iranin kansallinen vastarintaneuvosto” (NCRI), jonka keulakuvana esiintyy MEK:n johtajan Massoud Rajavin vaimo Maryam Rajavi.

CIA's Man in Cairo

Media_httpwwwadbuster_kgybr

In October 2001, Egyptian-born Australian citizen Mamdouh Habib was seized off a bus by Pakistani security forces. While detained in Pakistan, at the behest of America agents, he was suspended from a hook and electrocuted repeatedly. He was then turned over to the CIA, and in the process of transporting him to Egypt he endured the usual treatment: his clothes were cut off, a suppository was stuffed in his anus, and he was diapered and “wrapped up like a spring roll.”

In Egypt, Habib was repeatedly subjected to electric shocks, immersed in water, had his fingers broken, and hung from metal hooks. At one point, his interrogator slapped him so hard that the interrogator's blindfold was dislodged, revealing his identity: Egypt's spy chief and now Mubarak's Vice-President, Omar Suleiman. Frustrated that Habib was not confessing, Suleiman ordered a guard to murder a shackled prisoner in front of Habib, which the guard did with a vicious karate kick.

CIA's Condom Trail

Anna Ardin, who has accused WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange of rape in Sweden, has a significant history of work with anti-Castro groups, at least one of which is US-funded and openly supported by a former CIA agent convicted in the mass murder of 73 Cubans on an airliner he was involved in blowing up.

Ardin published her anti-Castro diatribes in the Swedish journal, Revista de Asignaturas Cubanas, put out by Misceláneas de Cuba, which is a product of a well-financed anti-Castro organization in Sweden. The group is connected with Union Liberal Cubana, led by Carlos Alberto Montaner, who is linked to the CIA.

Montaner joined the leader of the failed coup in Ecuador on a right-wing Colombian television channel to savage President Rafael Correa, the target of the coup. Also, Montaner vociferously supported the violent coup against President Manuel Zelaya in Honduras and became an fervent supporter of the Honduran junta.

In Cuba, Ardin interacted with the anti-Castro group Las Damas de Blanco, which receives support from Luis Posada Carriles, an anti-communist terrorist and a former CIA agent. Carriles was convicted of involvement in various terrorist attacks and plots, including the 1976 bombing of a Cuban airliner that killed 73 people.

Cheney killed 70 CIA informants

Media_httpwwwgetthebi_ghssc

Dick Cheney's aide, Scooter Libby, was tried and convicted of obstruction of justice and perjury, sentenced to prison, and his sentence quickly commuted by President Bush. In the film, we see that Valerie Plame, under a variety of aliases, ran secret networks of informants in Baghdad and other Middle Eastern cities. When the administration blew her cover, several of her informants were killed; some reports say 70. Then the Bush spin doctors leaked the story that she was only a CIA "secretary."

The government records every corner of the internet

In the midst of recent controversies over Facebook’s privacy settings, it is easy to forget how much personal information is available from other sources on the internet. But the government remembers. EFF recently received a number of documents from the CIA and the FBI highlighting the government's ability to scour not only social networks, but record each and every corner of the internet. These documents were released in the second of a series of government disclosures resulting from EFF’s Freedom of Information Act lawsuit in which EFF, with the help of UC Berkeley’s Samuelson Clinic, sought information on the procedures and guidelines employed by government agencies when conducting social network monitoring or investigations.

"Je m'appelle Bond. Jacques Bond."

The French military attaché in Damascus simply took it upon himself to drive out to the reactor on his own and take pictures. The attaché, whose name could not be learned, drove out to the desert site, near the village of At Tibnah, trailing a virtual caravan of Syrian "minders," domestic security agents assigned to follow him around. When he pulled up to the reactor site, the attaché jerked his thumb over his shoulder and told the bewildered guards, "They're with me."
